A wedding gift 63 years before the post, this Hoover percolator comes out whenever company visits, and it made coffee the morning the photo was taken. Her grandchild had never seen one, called it a kettle, and learned from a commenter that it was a percolator. The bigger surprise was that Hoover ever made anything besides vacuums.
