Sat ten years, started on the first pull

The first lawn its owner ever mowed was cut with this 1988 Honda HR214. Then it sat unused for ten years. It starts on the first pull after every winter. Most mowers that come into a shop after a long sit need the carburetor torn down before they'll even cough. Asked whether a push-button start would be nicer, its owner said one pull is hardly asking much. The air filter is a foam pad wrapped around a paper element. The foam breaks down with age and costs next to nothing to replace.
