About 45 years old and handed down by a father-in-law, this two-person Vango Force Ten has never leaked and never blown down. It's cotton canvas, not especially thick, and it takes a little extra effort to keep fresh and free of mildew. It goes up in under ten minutes, and the inner tent has its own attached groundsheet, so water can't run into the sleeping area. Every part is in plain sight, and its owner can fix any of them. Thirty or forty years ago UK campgrounds were full of this exact tent. In Canadian campgrounds it stands out.
