Grandma's spare, sent off to college in 1976

Heading off to college in 1976, its owner got this clock radio from a grandmother. It was one of her spares and wasn't new even then. It runs off the wall and keeps good time. The radio has gone faint, but the buzzer works, which is enough for a retiree who doesn't need jolting awake very often. It sits on its owner's side of the bed, and the owner's wife would rather it didn't.
