The original owner walked up at a car show

At 13, a kid got this 1967 Volvo 122S from Dad as a restoration project. It had been sitting more than 20 years. Old gas goes to varnish over that kind of time, and sure enough it needed carburetors and fuel lines, and that was about all. Years later, at a car show, an older man walked up and asked whose car it was. He had bought it new from a Volvo dealer on September 11, 1966, and driven it 100 miles each way, four days a week, and kept that up for 20 years. He invited the young owner home and handed over every service record he'd kept. The odometer only has five digits, so until then nobody knew how many times it had rolled over. It's past 621,000 miles.
