Six wires and rod brakes, in for a brake job

The shop that took in this 1929 Ford Model A usually says no to classics. A general repair business can't make money on them: parts take hours to find, and most jobs turn into custom work. They made an exception for brakes. There's no hydraulic system. The pedal pulls on rods that run out to each wheel, the same drum idea as now with no fluid. The brakes got a full replacement, and the spindles, which badly needed it. The parts came from a Model A supply house in Denver that stocks them to this day. The whole car has about six wires, plus a few more for the dash light, the ammeter and the headlight.
