300 miles a week on a flathead V8

About 300 miles a week, and more than 15,000 last year. This 1940 Ford Deluxe Tudor is a daily driver, still on its original flathead V8 with a Columbia two-speed rear end. It asks for more than a modern car does. Everything gets greased about once a week, the oil gets changed monthly, and the carb needs a tweak when the weather turns. Its owner lives in the South, pressure washes the underside, and says it handles snow better than most two-wheel-drive cars. The old cloth wiring is due for replacement so it can go to 12 volts.
