37 years on the key, and a screwdriver would do

The key to this mail truck carries 37 years of wear and is barely a key anymore. Its carrier figures a screwdriver would start the truck just as well. It's an LLV, and the carrier would take it over the new NGDV any day: the LLV has better clearance and holds up better, and the only real improvement in the new one is air conditioning. The new trucks are due at this office within the year. Asked about scheduled maintenance, the carrier says the station has always run on if it isn't broken, don't fix it.
