Grandma was given this Aerolux bulb as a baby gift in 1948. It isn't a filament bulb. Inside is a little metal figure with a coating that glows when the gas around it lights up, and with no filament to burn through, there isn't much to wear out. More than 70 years later it lights up. It draws 2 watts. Similar ones turn up on eBay for a reasonable price.

It fits a standard E26 socket.
