    The Cyclone opened for its 99th season on March 29, 2026, christened with an egg cream as usual. It first ran on June 26, 1927, and tops out at 60 mph.

    Analog over-the-air TV from full-power US stations

    Done for 2009

    Full-power analog broadcasts ended June 12, 2009. The government handed out $40 coupons for converter boxes, and about 1.75 million homes were not ready the day before.

    The monorail at Disneyland in California

    Still running. It opened June 14, 1959, as the first daily operating monorail in the US. Three Mark VII trains now run a 2.3-mile beam out to Downtown Disney.

    The Beano, a weekly British children's comic

    The Beano comes out every week. It first appeared July 30, 1938, hit issue 4,000 in 2019, and in 2018 became the longest-running weekly comic in the world.

    Heinz dropped it in 2006. EZ Squirt came in squeeze bottles of red, green, purple, pink, orange, teal and blue ketchup.
