Serial G88: December 1910, electric sometime later

Serial number G88 puts this Singer Model 27 in a December 1910 production run of about 30,000. Somewhere between then and 1957 it was converted to electric with an official Singer part that looks like 1950s hardware. A grandmother bought it used in 1957 after taking a sewing class, and one family guess is that it was converted to sell to people in that class. Mom has had it for as long as her kids can remember. She picks it over any modern machine and won't part with it.
