1. Since 2011

   Buying new games on the Nintendo 3DS eShop

   Done for 2023

   Purchases ended March 27, 2023, on both the 3DS and Wii U. Redownloads of games you already own and updates still work.

2. Since 1818

   The Farmers' Almanac, published in Maine

   Done for 2025

   The Farmers' Almanac announced in November 2025 that its 2026 edition would be its last, after 208 years. The Old Farmer's Almanac, a different outfit, carries on.

3. Since 1901

   A light bulb hanging in a California fire station

   Still going

   The Centennial Light in Livermore has been on since 1901, minus a few outages for moves and one bad generator. It turned 125 in June 2026 and still hangs over the trucks at Fire Station 6.

4. Since 1968

   Boeing building new 747 jumbo jets

   Done for 2023

   Boeing delivered the last 747, a freighter for Atlas Air, on January 31, 2023. The line built 1,574 of them over 54 years.

5. Since 1876

   Moxie, a bitter soda from New England

   Still going

   Moxie is still sold, mostly in New England and Pennsylvania. It started around 1876 as a patent medicine called Moxie Nerve Food. Coca-Cola bought it in 2018.
